No, but they are a moderator. If that works, I will still add the staff member. No. Provide evidence of your trial moderation experience (links, screenshots, logs, etc.): Moderation HistoryDo you have any active warnings or bans within the past 6 months? No. Have you ever been permanently banned? No. If you answered "Yes" to any of the above, please explain: Additional QuestionsWhy do you want to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team? The reason I would like to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team is because within the community, I see a lot of people who require assistance with anything ranging from bans to just general support questions, donator questions, etc. I would like to just help out so that it makes it easier on the executive and corporate team. I would also like to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team because I have a passion for helping others out and being a leader, as I continue to age and become more and more mature as a 15-year old individual, I still am learning more on being a leader and learning to be able to be useful towards others for those in need. I would also like to start enforcing more of the Mountain Interactive Guidelines that are set. Whenever I am in-game, I see a lot of guidelines being broken and if there is not a Staff Member to assist with it or to deal with it then the issue would just keep on continuing, so with that being said. I would like to start enforcing the rules more ensuring that all players within the Mountain Interactive community. What inspires me to be a staff for Mountain Interactive is for to help the community grow and to even better the community than it already is. My MAIN intentions for being a staff here is to help enforce the rules, provide support for those who need it, make sure all members within Mountain Interactive have a nice time whether it can be in the discord or in-game, and providing safety and maintaining a calm and peaceful environment for others. What skills or qualities do you have that would make you a valuable member of the staff team? The skills and qualities that I have that could make me a valuable member of the staff team would be being able to get things done fast. I happen to learn things fast and get the hang of things very quickly. My mother always told me that I do things very fast paced but I do end up getting it done. If I was assigned a task to go help out a member in the community in the discord or to go provide help in-game, I would be there to assist no matter what. I have a passion for helping out others so this still gives me an opportunity to learn whilst still doing my job so that I can be a better me and I can provide the best service and support for the community within the Mountain Interactive Staff Team. Another quality I have of myself is being able to maintain professionalism and maturity. At my age and in this generation, it is very rare to find someone with common sense and someone who is mature and professional and that can be very young in this generation of us. I always take things seriously. But yet, I can still be a very chill and fun individual. I strive to be looked upon as a very professional person and someone that knows how to do their job correctly. I have been working in Moderation, Administration, and Management positions all for approximately 3+ years. I feel that I would know the basics of how to work as a staff here for Mountain Interactive. Have you been involved in any other communities or teams? If so, please list them and describe your role: Yes, I have been involved with being an actual community staff member for the popular “Roblox” game ERLC. I was a normal Community Staff Member, meaning I would go around the discord server ensuring safety and a calm environment. Something that I had ended up accomplishing was becoming a Head Staff In-Game. Meaning that I was able to work for the in-game field division and I would basically supervise other staff making sure that they are doing their assigned duties correctly. When it comes down to being involved with becoming a staff member in certain places, I would always take on that chance just so I can keep learning on how to become a better moderator for other communities than I already am. I also used to work for this console-only game called Tennessee Roleplay Community, I was an Administrator there. I was like 3 ranks above the starting trial rank. I basically would supervise the ranks below me and I had permissions to use ban commands, give moderation permissions, etc. I basically was a higher up. Now, the point of my job for being an Administrator was to handle bans that were requested by the Junior Staff ranks that did not have permissions to ban. I also was in-charge of making sure that the in-game junior moderation team was getting their certifications done for certain permissions in-game. This was a required thing to do and I basically would send out friendly reminders to get their certifications while they can before it is too late. I have WAY more experiences I can list but it would just go on and on forever. With using my past experiences from the later years, I can use this to help better myself and so that I can use my past experience and use it here so that the Executive Mountain Interactive Team knows that I have what it takes to be apart of the Staff Team for Mountain Interactive. How would you handle a conflict between two community members? I would start by assessing the situation, asking what happened, how did it start, etc. The basic questions to make a start of a resolution. I would then get statements from each person involved in the conflict. Asking what happened, how did it start, what was said, did you say anything that could have possibly led to this, what do you think you did wrong. Throughout the process, I would maintain neutrality, making it clear that my goal is to support both individuals and the community as a staff.. This helps prevent any accusation of bias or favoritism towards anyone. I would then try problem-solving, I would start off by saying “What do you think we can do to resolve this issue?” or “What should we do so that this does not occur again?”. Once it is resolved, I would then let both of them know lets make sure we are not like creating a toxic environment for those around us in the community. Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role: One time I had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role was when I was a Manager for a Police Roleplay Community. The issue was resolving a mass hacker in-game who was raiding, making the game not enjoyable for others. I had gathered a team to join the game and find out what the hacker was specifically doing and where they were. Once we found the hacker. We had immediately banned them and then we started server care. I had ended up contacting the development team with ideas of adding Anti-Cheat so that this wouldn’t happen next time. How do you prioritize tasks when managing multiple responsibilities? I would start by seeing which ones are most important and which ones are less important, I would manage my time by using time management tools / resources such as Reminder app for iPhone, or apps that can help me organize what I need to get done in a span of time. I would also try having others provide assistance for me by doing simple tasks and ones that aren’t that hard to do. Ones that will not use up that much time. What do you think is the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold, and why? I feel like the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold is trust. I look at Mountain Interactive as a very organized organization and I feel that most of the staff I see in-game or in the discord can be very nice, professional, mature, hard-working. The reason I say trust is because this organization that the ownership & development team have created is very organized and complex. I have never seen a Roblox community go above and beyond to create a WHOLE website for their game that can provide support, FAQ, anything they need. I feel that the corporate team expects every applicant to be trust-worthy with the commands that they are given in-game. I know that the executive team for the Mountain Interactive organization has high standards for the staff team. Mainly expecting them to be professional, reliable, mature, hard-working, etc. How would you support and encourage new members of the community? I would first give the new member a warm welcome. Depending on where I meet the new member, I would tell them join the communications server so that they can unlock exclusive perks and get support for anything they may need. I would tell them check out specific channels to help get them started. I would ask them simple questions such as, “Is there any questions you have in regards to in-game or the communications server?”, “How long have you been playing?”, guiding them on how to do the basics for in-game, the simple things like that. I would give them my business information so that they can contact me if they have any comments, questions, or any concerns about Mountain Interactive. What are your long-term goals, and how does being part of Mountain Interactive align with them? My long term goals for Mountain Interactive is to grind and reach a very high rank. This helps me learn on how to keep growing and how to be more professional and mature, how I can keep becoming a better me so that I can provide the best support for the Mountain Interactive community. I see myself hopefully obtaining the rank of Administrator or above within the Mountain Interactive Staff Team. I hope to work with new people whilst meeting new people in the community in general and making new peers. Being apart of Mountain Interactive align with them because I see this organization as a somewhat strict roleplaying community when enforced. Are there any areas within the community you feel need improvement? If so, what ideas do you have to address them? Just enforce the rules more so that the community can have an amazing roleplay experience. That is all.
