One example is when I was a senior moderator for Florida State Roleplay (ER:LC private server) which taught me a lot about handling conflict. Since then, I have also been a moderator for White House Roleplay, where I gained further experience helping others for about five months before leaving due to corrupt management. Since then, I have mostly done moderation for discord servers, of which I have learned text-based moderation commands. Which Mountain Interactive Servers Do You Play Most?I play on Perris frequently as Metro for RPD. I have tried LA, but the community isn't very welcoming to new players, and everyone expects you to know exactly what to do from day one. Why Do You Want to Become a Moderator? I have seen many instances of rule breaking in Perris, and I have wanted to help enforce the rules for some time now. However, I haven't had the chance to apply due to school. Now that I am on summer break, I will have the opportunity to dedicate more of my time to RPD. I enjoy helping others, and it makes me sad when I see someone breaking rules as simple as cuff rushing. I have been randomly killed, arrested, and even teamkilled many times. I want to help others by dealing with these infractions and hopefully save someone from going through what I have. Are You Familiar with Any Current Staff Members?I am familiar with Olympic2023, MysticMeadow23, watameln, and I have talked to Cruz a few times. Olympic referred me to the staff team because he has seen that I am skilled in defusing situations. With Mystic, I met her in a game called Victoria County Roleplay, where she used to moderate. I have known her for almost a year now. Watameln is the Assistant Chief of RPD, it's pretty much impossible not to know him. When Are You Usually Available to Moderate?Since summer is here, I am available to moderate whenever it is needed, at any time of day. I am currently moving to California so for the next week or so from the time of writing this I will not be able to play Roblox. How Would You Handle Rule breaking?If a player were to come to me with a broken rule, I would first ask them for video proof via medal. We cannot moderate without video evidence. Let's say someone was tool abusing with cuffs. I would take the player who is being reported and look through prior rule violations. If this is a first-time offense, I would bring them to the mod sit room. I would tell them what it is they did wrong and give them a verbal warning. I would then mark the modcall as resolved and log the moderation action. Anything Else We Should Know?I am truly sorry if this application seems rushed, I tried to put in as much information as possible with the time I have.
