It all started when a person was stopped by the police in Los Angeles. I was a U.S. Marshal rendering assistance when the suspect fled on foot. A taser was deployed, and the subject pulled a firearm. As a result, the LAPD and I opened fire, which led to the subject's death. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) decided they were the judge and jury, claiming we used too much force. They then instructed their troopers to arrest me and the officer involved. That’s the context of the situation.
