  1. No such account exists; with respect, if I were avoiding a ban, then clearly I wouldn't need to appeal because I'd simply be able to use another account.

Staff Member Who Banned You (optional) Unsure - don't know how to find out What Happened? Having read the thread which led to my ban, I am quite surprised at the severity of the enforcement action that has been taken against my account. Rather interestingly, the trolls on the police team who stopped us have selectively clipped footage to suit their narrative, having left significant chunks out of the story. It is my intention to provide my side of the story in the hope that administrators can make an informed decision as to what enforcement action should be taken. Whilst driving around the map, my passenger saw a police car behind us and said "pass me the white powder" as a joke; these police officers then took it upon themselves to start following us around the map; I should stress that in real life, it would not be possible to hear the conversation taking place in another vehicle, which would render their decision to follow us FRP. We, being sick of the fact that they were following us, decided to pull in - low and behold, they did the same thing. Eric accidentally jumped out of the car, which then glitched due to his movement. He got back in. After a few seconds, I then decided to drive off again to see if they would continue to follow us without justification; it was no surprise to see that they did just that based on their previous behaviour. The officers then made the decision to pull us over. I complied with that request, and stopped my car. They then demanded to know why Eric had "jumped out of a moving car" and claimed that was why they were pulling us over - let me be clear that this was for a passenger simply jumping out of the car by mistake. I note from reading the initial report that all of this was conveniently left out by the individuals reporting us, most likely to try and make themselves look much better and us much worse. As the video shows, I was argumentative with the officers because I did not believe that they were roleplaying appropriately. I made it clear that there was nothing on the Ventura Collected Laws Trello which made reference to leaving a moving vehicle. There was nothing that we did which, within the confines of reasonable roleplay, would have led to a traffic stop. We were simply trying to play the game. It is very clear that by following us, parking up when we parked up, and then pulling us over on the very questionable grounds of somebody getting out of and then straight back into a vehicle, these officers were trying to bait us. That is why I was so defensive towards them; this was not a valid roleplay scene and I was not willing to take a significant fine or jail time because of that. It was my view that they were following us based on a comment that they would not be able to hear in real life, and that they were trying to bait us so that they could take enforcement action and gain XP from it. In addition, lots of the "evidence" that they have provided is literally unconnected to me. They claim that I was using alt accounts to ram them on the scene, or that an alternative account stole my car. Yet the whole time, I am engaging consistently in the chat with them by putting my arguments across. It is simply not possible for me to be typing on one account and driving on another one on an entirely separate device. Additionally, their BELIEF that it was an alternative account cannot be proven; it is pure and baseless speculation with no hard proof. I strongly deny any claim that an alternate account of mine was in the game at any point. It is very clear that my priority was to put my point of view across and challenge what I believed to be improper roleplay and civilian baiting by these officers, so that they could get as much XP as possible. Whilst I did, clearly, admit that I had an alternative account, I would like to be clear that my intention in stating that was to simply demonstrate to the officers that I don't care that they planned to report me. It was in the heat of the moment, in a moment of immense frustration at their behaviour. I did let me ego take control as things developed, and for that I apologise. I did, indeed, leave the game because I was growing so frustrated at what was going on. Had this been a scene where the traffic stop was conducted properly and within the confines of genuine roleplay - like many I have been involved in on your many games - I would not have grown so frustrated and left the game. However, this was not because I didn't have any intention of roleplaying, it was because I was getting pretty annoyed by what was happening. To be clear, I categorically deny their claim that I had an alternative account in the server at that time - it would not be possible, evidenced by my continuous chat interactions with the officers in-game. I think the final, and most important point, relates to the fact I've been banned based on evidence that barely shows me doing anything. Most of those videos show other users doing things like ramming officers, glitching cars, stealing vehicles. You can see clearly in my video that I spent it all engaging in a discussion with the officers who reported us. I am not responsible for the behaviour of other users, and feel as though I am being penalised for things that I personally did not do. Ban Reason (as shown in the ban message) NITRP. Why Should You Be Unbanned? I think that I should be unbanned because, fundamentally, I have every intention of roleplaying. I have been playing Mountain Interactive games for a significant amount of time and don't ever recall having an issue like this. Additionally, in the many hours I have spent in game, I have roleplayed consistently across a range of teams - including law enforcement. I have created, and engaged in, realistic scenarios for other users. I have also been more than reasonable in my approach to other people, which is why I have never had a problem before this. I would argue that this shows clear intent to roleplay. However, I acknowledge and apologise for, the way that I dealt with that particular situation. It is clear that on reflection, I should not have engaged in an argument with two people who would be unlikely to change their attitude after behaving in a questionable manner. It would have been better and more appropriate for me to try and call for a moderator/admin using the "!help" feature or to make a report on here. Admittedly, I did not know that this was how to go about reporting things. With this knowledge, I would absolutely go through this channel and report these matters. Additionally, I would argue that there were some claims that were made which are simply untrue - especially around alternative accounts. Yes, I mentioned that I had these accounts in the event of a ban of some kind, but it would be impossible for me to be speaking in-game with the officers and to be driving multiple vehicles at the same time - or to even join the game and get to the location as quick as those vehicles did. They were making assumptions and false allegations, and I hope that common sense would prove that it was impossible for me to be operating so many accounts at any one time. I hope that it is clear that from the length of this appeal, that my intentions for playing this game are genuine. I would also like to raise the question of what moderation action can be taken against the malicious and selectively-chosen allegations that were made by the officers who reported us.
