Moderating Staff Member: Answer.: kanemccalister#0 What game did the ban take place in?: Los Angeles Ban Reason: Why I Should Be Unbanned: I was banned for arresting someone for aggravated battery and possession of a machine gun (fully automatic MAC-10). The person later turned out to be innocent but at the time of the arrest, this fact was not known to me or my partner. As we arrived on the scene, we saw the person who reported me standing over the body of another person beating them down. We had not seen the scene evolve before that, the only thing we noticed was the person reporting me standing over a body and beating the person. What added to my suspicion was that after I had put the suspect in handcuffs and got him on the ground, there was a shooter roughly 50 feet away engaging other officers. While I was firing off shots at the shooter, the arrestee decided to flee the scene which once again, made him look extremely suspicious. I later found the suspect at Arco’s Gas Station still in cuffs and managed to apprehend and book him (all of this was mentioned in my arrest report below). This was an honest mistake, I think anyone else in my position would have arrested this person. I did not mean to break the rules or falsely arrest anyone.
