Responded to a hostage call over the radio, was uniformed officers had already made entry. Upon entering the building and the entering the elevator I reached the third floor. The doors then opened, and I see multiple individuals holding a gun, and what I thought was a hostage (red stripped shirt individual), and again not being informed officers were on scene, instantly I deemed them as suspects mistakenly. I then discharged my weapon unfortunately resulting in friendly fire. Ban Reason (as shown in the ban message) (https://medal.tv/games/roblox/clips/kMmTxqCHdKENzRYWK?invite=cr-MSxzdVAsMjYzNTg1NDMx) for easy reference. Why Should You Be Unbanned? This was not a case of RDM, random death match, it was simply an IC matter of friendly fire. I was unaware officers had already made entry, and with the information I had at the time, it changed my judgement. I failed to PID the individuals properly, which yes is a mistake, but not RDM. This would be a different story if I just go willy nilly in a building trying to run everyone's roleplay and if I was sitting in the building, entering at the same time as the other officers, knowing they were officers, etc. However, this was simply just a bad shooting, no malintent. Keep in mind, I was never afforded an opportunity to express my side of the situation to any moderator or other reporting parties/ parties involved.
