Additional QuestionsWhy do you want to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team? The main reason is, when I first joined Mountain Interactive, back in 2022, I enjoyed Victor Valley. and the staff team was great. I met Ash in Victor Valley, and ever since, I keep taking breaks. I always come back to Mountain Interactive. And every time I’ve had fun, expressed thoughts helped new players. And now in 2024, I have decided to join the staff team because I am very good at what I do. I have wanted to train & guide people since I was little. I hope to improve people and the staff team because it has left something in my heart. Which motivates me through hard times, so I hope to join this team and thrive. threw it. and the start of 2025, I will be refreshed and ready to start again. I want to stop abusing and having issues. with people in Perris, Since being a prior LAPD member, the staff team has maintained rules in LA. But Perris needs more, and that’s why I am here applying to become a MI Moderation member. What skills or qualities do you have that would make you a valuable member of the staff team? My main skills & strengths I have are communication. I talk to tons of people a day. And mostly people enjoy what I have to say, also my reasoning and gut. Whenever a problem appears, I mostly always find reason for it, or why it happened. Problem solving I’m still learning and figuring out. But my main is tasking and listening. to directions, suggestions & help to other moderation members. I understand and solve; I am fairly good at tasking in tickets & reports. And I am a Perris player, so I can definitely understand problems in there and mostly solve them while on duty. Have you been involved in any other communities or teams? If so, please list them and describe your role: ECRP: Director of Operations (Civilian/Discord Moderation) ISRP: Administration ASRPC: Administrator RVRP: Development Manager/Community Director SSBRPV2: Moderator WCRP: Community Management How would you handle a conflict between two community members? I have always heard them out when they make a conflict between someone else. And usually it's over something simple, so I just pull 1 by 1, and then I let them talk about it. civilly, and then they understand the problem and tell me the moderator/administrator. What to do from there. Instead of listening to the victim and going from there, my main point is community outreach. I want the community to change and not go to the worst. I really care for people in hard situations; mostly it's because of IRL bullying & depression. So I will tell them to take a break and relax. We’ve all had that sometime in our life. That is how I will deal with conflicts. Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role: As stated in question 8, I have been in (FiveM, Roblox, Milsim) for about a while now. I have seen all types of people, including trollers or people who don’t listen, I primarily bring them aside, and talk to them face to face instead of really just moderating them and leaving. I want them to really know. that we, the moderation team, care; we will hear you out and really understand why and what you did. Then based on that information we will moderate you. I personally haven’t had a difficult problem besides This one day we had people raiding our FiveM community, and we grabbed them and talked to them and wondered what we did wrong, but they ignored us, so we just banned them from our community. I haven’t recently been staffing & moderating in communities. How do you prioritize tasks when managing multiple responsibilities? I usually take breaks in the middle to be 100% refreshed. I have been in communities as someone that deals with hundreds, yes hundreds, of tickets & reports. While there are about 30 of us that can deal with them. But I continued to thrive, Since then I have improved my responsibility tasking to make sure my priorities are straight, If you don’t, then you will crash and burn. I have learned to learn from my mistakes and refresh and move on. If you stay on that same mistake or issue. You won’t prioritize right; you need to keep motivating yourself to keep going. I prioritize tasks due to breaks and coffee to be refreshed, and then you're not as tired as you were. you're ready to continue on the many tasks & responsibilities you have. What do you think is the most important value for a Mountain Interactive staff member to uphold, and why? I believe question 6 also supports this question. I believe the most important value for a staff member to uphold is Motivation & Integrity: If you don’t have those two 1. You will not be trustworthy and dependent. 2 You will be seen. as a lazy and depressed member, you won’t deal with tasks, and you definitely won’t deal with the multiple responsibilities. you have. I am not saying you have to be a moderation member 24/7. People have lives; you should spread happiness and good positive thoughts. Who wants a community filled with negative thoughts? This is a Roblox game. So the most crucial value you must have is Motivation, Integrity, How would you support and encourage new members of the community? I have a lot, Due to being an EOTS (FiveM) LSPD Sergeant. Make more peace-based calls. As a disturbance call or fight in a store due to a robbery. Instead of the basic shooting and pursuits. Also chat with moderators and staff, As the staff team is friendlier than scary, also ask the community questions on what to do. Make suggestions join a department. Or even join the staff team! There are a lot of things people can do when coming to the MI Community, And I hope my thoughts and ideas get out to the community, and people stay because of me. What are your long-term goals, and how does being part of Mountain Interactive align with them? To reach Senior Moderator, Since 2022 I’ve witnessed everything. Adding on to question 10, I have noticed back in Victor Valley the Moderation, Was more sincere, so I would like to make that come back again. It really improved. community outreach, I would also like to teach skills across law enforcement and other Milsim skills we can use here. My final goal is to really just improve how MI Moderation Members act and think. I hope to really get to know the team more. Are there any areas within the community you feel need improvement? If so, what ideas do you have to address them? What I have noticed in LA is that staff are more careless and just really blame you for stuff. I was blamed for RDM and I really hate when they’ve been told multiple times there’s 5 witnesses but they just keep blaming and instigating, That’s why I am applying I just want to sincerely improve the MI moderation. I feel there has to be more training, often every month, to Make sure MI Moderation members in general keep up on the policy and rule book. That is my thought on improvement. with the team @MI Moderation. AgreementBy submitting this application, I confirm that: All information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
