For the record, I want to clarify that I did not support Hayden's actions that night. I was upset because he was fired from the LAPD with, from my point of view, no warnings to improve or anything. While I still do not know if this is true, I don't care anymore. I no longer associate myself with him or communicate with him. While I was previously friendly with him in the LAPD, that changed after he raided the TeamSpeak, attacked (and hacked) webhooks, and leaked multiple staff members' personal information. His actions were too far, in my opinion. While I am not proud of my actions, and I own up to how immature and stupid they were, they do not stoop to the level of his, which, once again, I do not associate with, especially looking back and realizing how not only harmful this was, but also how dangerous it was for those involved.

Incident Description*:On December 30th, 2024, I was banned from Mountain Interactive because of the way I decided to handle a conflict within the community personally. Instead of addressing the conflict in the proper channels, I went after the people in their DM's, which I will expand upon after this. Over the span of three months before the incident, I was growing increasingly frustrated with certain behaviors, decisions, and actions that I felt were negatively impacting the LAPD and the roleplay community as a whole. That frustration slowly increased, and eventually, seeing the reaction to the decision to fire Hayden, I had to say something, but I didn't do it correctly. Instead of expressing my feelings calmly and professionally, I called these two people obscene and inappropriate things. I attacked them instead of what they were representing, an ad hominem. In the view of the banning staff member, a co-worker, I did something that fell into the line of harassment. Although I felt like I was standing up for something important at the time, I now realize that I allowed my emotions to take control, and that is not the way any disagreement should be handled. The individuals I messaged were part of an ongoing issue and decision that I felt went against my goals, the goal of my bureau, and the RP experience as a whole. I reacted immediately, without considering the bigger picture of how my actions would affect others. A few people close to me, I think one or two others, were banned as well, but most others involved in the same situation were not. Regardless of what I did, or didn't do, and what they did, or didn't do, I understand now, and did then, that my actions were my responsibility and that I should have handled myself more professionally and maturely in the proper channels, not in DM's. Ban Reason*:The reason for my ban was "Administrator's Discretion." While that's a general team, I fully understand and acknowledge that my actions permitted administrators to take action to stop my violent and immature response to the actions of others. I know that I violated MI's trust by personally creating a hostile environment through a negative interaction between myself and others, and I can now see why my behavior made others feel targeted and uncomfortable. In the months since, I've had time to reflect on the incident, and I will never rash out on someone again, as that's not the right way to do it. Why should you be unbanned?*:I'm not writing this to return to the game, but I also genuinely miss being part of something fun with my friends. The RP experience brought me joy, endless entertainment, and connections. If my appeal is accepted, I will return with a new self-awareness and respect. I genuinely regret how I handled this situation, but I hope you will consider giving me one more opportunity to be part of something I enjoy. What rules / offences did the player break: RDM x2, RSI, maybe glitching (just because I don’t really know how he got into the garage. He may have just walked in behind a cop, but I’m not too sure.) Also maybe AoT. (I’m puzzled by the fact that he was able to open a door that is LAPD (or LEO) team locked… as a civ. It just doesn’t add up.) You could argue NITRP as there was just no RP involved but I’m not too familiar with the concrete definition of NITRP, that would be up to a mod to decide. Appealing Roblox Username: Officer_eevilbb12 Appealing Discord ID: 415299252844101637 Ban Length: 2 Days Moderating Staff Member: vixiusz What game did the ban take place in?: Perris LightshotScreenshotCaptured with Lightshot Why I Should Be Unbanned: In this situation, I shot a suspect who teleported back to me after I arrested him because I accidentally left him “held.” My intention was not to harm or diminish this player roleplay experience but to ensure that he was reset into a cell - something that I have done for months without issues and that I have confirmed with at least two moderators in the past was acceptable to do, although rules may have changed - Furthermore, technically my offenses did not violate any rules. Per the Perris Rulebook, I followed all sections under “Law Enforcement Roleplay.” I acted (by killing the suspect) to ensure that he was jailed correctly and to prevent further issues with him being unattended in the booking area, as I was unable to place him in a cell. (I had tried to open the cells before, but for some reason, I couldn’t. This may have changed, but I haven’t been able to open the cells in the past.) Leaving him unattended in the booking area would have probably led to a separate report for him, as he was distraught with me arresting him, which brings me to my next point. The report against me seems to have stemmed from frustration rather than a legitimate concern about rule violations. During this incident, the suspect repeatedly insulted me, calling me “dumb as a rock” and “stupid” on multiple separate occasions. The suspect called for staff twice for “FRP” and violated NLR by returning after a previous scene involving him had ended with his death. His use of the “!help” command twice seemed more disruptive to the RP than my actions did at the end when the RP was over. To counter the RDM point, my actions were not RDM. It had served a specific purpose of resetting the suspect in jail due to the game mechanics not allowing me to open the cells (in the past, it had not; again, I don’t know if it has changed now). This approach to killing him did not diminish his roleplay experience, nor did it “hurt” anyone. He was already in jail, and resetting him made sure that he would be in a jail cell. It was meant to be done outside of RP. To confirm the TA (tool abuse or team abuse, I’m not sure), the Perris Rulebook does not state TA (whether it be tool abuse or team abuse) in it; therefore, I’m not sure how I violated one of these rules, as I did not know what defined it. I know that this seems like such an obvious violation, but my reasoning for killing him is very straightforward, and I believe that he only reported me because he was upset that he was being arrested.
