Unfortunately, I cannot edit the original post, but I found out I was actually moderated for a completely different situation. The clip they used takes everything out of context and is trimmed down to only a small portion of what actually happened. The player had already threatened to kill me as soon as I left the spawn area at Louie's car dealership, and on my screen, I was already out in the intersection making a left turn when they cut me off in front of me. Because of desync, it looks completely different from their side. In my head they had just threatened to kill me, they had a weapon on them, they cut me off, and then they got out of the car and started walking toward me, so I reacted based on what had transpired minutes before. I do not have a clip from my perspective, which hurts me here, but it does not feel fair for the decision to be made off a 16 second clip with zero context. Any time I have ever reported someone and only showed a short 15 to 30 second clip, staff told me they needed more context before they could take action. But in this case, my situation was judged from a small trimmed clip with none of the events that led up to it. All I am asking for is the same standard to be applied to my report and for the full situation to be considered.

I was simply matching the roleplay style of everyone involved at the scene. People roleplay at different levels, and I try to adapt to that. In this situation, pwrl161 was roleplaying at a very basic level and was not even roleplaying her actions, so I matched that energy. I know some people prefer deeper roleplay, but in this scenario, I was going with the vibe around me. It is not fair for me to roleplay at the same level as pwrl161 and then be reported for breaking the rules when she was breaking them just as much. How is it fair for someone who is barely roleplaying to hold others to high standards that they are not following themselves? She made comments about some of my actions being unrealistic, but her actions were also unrealistic, yet no violations were found. I believe I deserve a second chance because I was not intentionally FRP or NITRP. I was just matching the energy of the scene. Going forward, I will roleplay at a high standard regardless of how other people are roleplaying, which will help prevent this from happening in the future. I would also appreciate someone reviewing my player report again against pwrl161. I find it extremely hypocritical that I was punished while they walked away scot free, especially when there were clear violations that I highlighted and provided screenshots for in my report.

I was actively pursuing a sedan for reckless driving and speeding. The suspect eventually stopped near a maroon Charger, exited the vehicle, and got into the Charger’s passenger seat. Up to that point, I had not seen the Charger involved in the situation at all, and there was no roleplay connection between me and the driver of the Charger. From my perspective, and based on the context, this vehicle and its driver appeared to be completely uninvolved and seemed like a random civilian. As soon as the suspect got into the passenger seat, the Charger’s driver exited the vehicle and phased directly to the passenger side, where he immediately shot me. There was absolutely no roleplay interaction between me and the shooter. There were no words exchanged, no commands issued, no escalation, and no opportunity for me to even begin initiating any kind of roleplay, such as ordering the suspect to stop or get out. The use of deadly force in that moment was completely unprovoked and unjustified. There was no valid roleplay reason for the shooting; he could have just driven away since I was alone. The way the driver moved from his seat to the passenger side violates the rules against FRP. While the game may allow players to phase through the vehicle, a realistic roleplay situation requires the driver to get out from the driver’s side and physically walk around the vehicle to reach the other side. Instead, the driver used an unrealistic method to immediately appear on the passenger side and open fire. Even if he were to claim that he crawled across the interior, that would already be a stretch, but it is completely impossible because the passenger seat was occupied. His actions were not realistic and did not align with how someone in that role would behave, which violates FRP. The player killed me without any roleplay reason and did so in an unrealistic and FRP manner.. clearly violating both RDM and FRP rules.
