I wish to join the Mountain Interactive Staff Team to devote my skillsets amongst others, and influence gameplay for the better, all-the-while enforcing rules and regulations of the Mountain Interactive Community. Over my span of 10 years on the ROBLOX platform, I’ve partook in countless roleplay communities, and many of those, as a Staff Member. I’ve got a vast experience profit in Moderation Support, and an ability to understand others from not only at a Moderation Perspective, but as a person. In my free time, I enjoy spending time at work, with family, or here on the ROBLOX platform, hoping to influence others’ time to the best of my abilities. I feel as though my time well spent can influence others, and furthermore my experience here in Mountain Interactive. I’ve had my eyes set on becoming apart of the Staff Team for quite some time, however, have just been waiting for the right time to throw my hat in the ring and give it a shot. I wish to advance along the way, and be hopeful that at some point in time, I can be tasked with training future Moderation membership. What skills or qualities do you have that would make you a valuable member of the staff team? In terms of my skills and qualities that I posses that would make me a valuable member of the Staff Team, I can list multiple. I am a highly outgoing individual, whom spends my free time and career interacting with others. I am a career firefighter in real life, and interact with others on a daily basis. I’m an avid and active member of the community, and can only hope to continue to pursue that. I live by a motto, and that motto will be carried alongside me until the day I die; Treat others, the way in which you want to be treated. Have you been involved in any other communities or teams? If so, please list them and describe your role: I have been involved in other communities, however, so many in which I cannot list off, and half of them would be unknown to others. However, my largest two that I’ve been apart of, and/or am currently apart of are; Deer-Lodge Fire Department, as a Battalion Chief, and Taftville Fire and Rescue as a Deputy Commissioner. How would you handle a conflict between two community members? When handling a conflict between two community members, it’s important to enter the situation at an open mindset. I’d pull each individual aside, after asking them to stop, and begin getting eachothers’ side of the story. From there, I’d address in a professional matter whom I deem at fault, and from there devout punishment if necessary. I am a fond believer that not one person is to have fingers pointed at them unless a depicted Moderation scenario. Describe a time you had to solve a difficult problem in a leadership or team role: As stated above, I’m a career firefighter, and this lies more on a morals role. On 12/12/2024, myself and my crew were working on the Highway on a rollover accident when an individual was going too fast for conditions in a Box Truck. The individual crashed into Three of our on-scene apparatus, and sent 5 of us running for our lives into the ditch. Upon gathering our Barings, we became tasked with a more difficult and moral issue. To help the driver of the box truck out of the vehicle. Of course, we had a job to do, and we did it almost to the instant, however, we all could’ve very easily stood by and waiting for additional resources to arrive before extricating the individual. Not one of us hesitated, and myself and two others were the first to spring into action to get the driver of the box truck out and to safety. How do you prioritize tasks when managing multiple responsibilities? In terms of prioritizing tasks and responsibilities, I have a system in which I base on priority. If it is a higher priority and higher acuity task, then it gets done first, and then the rest trickles behind. What do you think is the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff member to uphold, and why? I feel like the most important value for a Mountain Interactive Staff Member to uphold is integrity and open mindedness. I feel this because in a job title of Administration, your job is not only to punish, it is to gather all details, and fixate a fine line of proof and validation before coming to a decision. In terms of integrity, you are a Staff Member, your job is to uphold yourself high, so that others may feel as though they can approach you for their issues. How would you support and encourage new members of the community? Without new membership, the servers would fail. I support and encourage membership now, and would continue to do such as Moderation, with a little coaching and viewpoints from my perspective. These members may not know what they’re doing entirely, however, with vast viewpoint and leadership, they’ll fit in just fine. What are your long-term goals, and how does being part of Mountain Interactive align with them? My aspiration is to further advance my profession as a career firefighter, and continue to advance my skillsets with people and being apart of Mountain Interactive helps me achieve these aspirations and goals because of my constant interactions with others. Are there any areas within the community you feel need improvement? If so, what ideas do you have to address them? I feel like the aspect of Moderation needs improvement, solely because of the vast team membership that it has, and how everyone functions differently, with different outcomes. I’ve seen people get too caught up in their job title to look at all sides of the picture, and I’ve also seen people act immaturely on moderation scenes. My goal to address these situations is to lead by example. AgreementBy submitting this application, I confirm that: All information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
