About 2 days ago at around night time 10pm PST (9/15/25) I was an owner (through diamond subscription) for the gun store in which the subject in the evidence here https://medal.tv/games/roblox/clips/l7111WPDVDonir5Gu?invite=cr-MSxaYVksNDcxNzQwMzk had prior "beef" with me because the subject allegedly killed one of my fellow clerks at the gun store. There was a police investigation of the shootout on scene but they were not able to locate the person based on descriptions we gave them. As a result, a couple of minutes later I located the person recording the video detained for another reason with SBI and proceeded to shoot said person as a legitimate roleplay scenario. I logged on the next day with a ban on my account. Ban Reason (as shown in the ban message) RDM, NITRP, IWS Why Should You Be Unbanned? Firstly I'd like to personally take accountability on the grounds that I should have played out the situation better instead of just opening fire and created a verbal altercation prior. So on those grounds, I believe that that the ban was fair although my true intentions were within a genuine roleplay context in my mind. However, the evidence depicted is clearly taken out of context in the sense that it just shows the action of me killing the victim. I genuinely did not know that it was a staff scene or else I would not have done it but the video doesn't even depict a staff scene it just directly cuts to me killing the victim. Based on the prior information I have honestly provided, that would rule out RDM and NITRP at the very least. I will also take accountability that I should have been more aware of the ongoing staff scene but it was so far away from me that I could not make it out. To me it just looked like the person who killed one of employees was in for a revenge killing. Lastly, even if the ban was fair, I feel like a permanent ban is too excessive given the fact that this is my first mod action taken against me while I see bans in the ban log channel for similar reasons only take a couple of days maximum. I know that the mountain interactive mods pursue fairness so I ask that my ban be at least amended to a non-permanent state. These are the reasons why I feel like I should be unbanned.
