Ban Appeal Review – Final Decision Appealing User: Mino Roblox Username: amyiscool1817 Discord Username: airi7777 (306775692388073475) Staff Member: InternalHypothesis Ban Reason: RDM (Random Deathmatch) Evidence Reviewed: User-provided clip: Clip 1 – Medal.tv Additional evidence attachments and screenshots submitted in the appeal. Staff-side logs and chat history between the user and InternalHypothesis. Context regarding the "hit" roleplay against Moonbux. Footage Analysis: The footage shows the appealing user equipping a firearm and shooting the targeted player without any visible RP engagement, threats, or verbal interaction immediately prior. No live threats, typed initiation, or sufficient escalation were recorded before lethal force was used. The target did not have an opportunity to react to any RP scenario and appeared unaware of the incoming attack. Attempting to blend into the crowd after the shooting without clear scene closure was noted. Findings: While the user claims to have been executing a gang-related hit, there was no visible or audible live RP escalation to justify the shooting within the clip itself. Roleplaying a "hit" still requires proper threat RP, initiation, and opportunity for response before firing. Shooting without these steps falls under the community’s definition of Random Deathmatch (RDM). The moderator incorrectly mentioned a "30-second RP rule," which does not exist in the official rules. However, this error does not invalidate the underlying footage evidence confirming RDM. Relevant Rule Violations: [Section 2.2] Player versus Player (PvP) – Random Deathmatch (RDM) Killing another player without proper RP engagement or escalation is prohibited. Initiating violence without warning or scene establishment is not permitted even during bounty or hit-based roleplay. Note: You interrupted an active police RP scene (Scene Interference). You RDM'd the officer without appropriate initiation. Even if a "hit" was placed, you must still properly roleplay initiation, and must not interrupt an existing unrelated RP scene without escalation. Final Outcome: The appeal is denied. The ban for Random Deathmatch remains in place. The verbal misstatement by the moderator has been noted for internal handling but does not affect the decision. Users are expected to clearly roleplay threats and escalation before using lethal force, regardless of context. Reviewed and finalized by Mountain Interactive Moderation Team.
