Pro tip, it's better to own up and take responsibility rather then take advantage of a minor mistake that a moderator made. If your appeal was about owning up to it, I'd understand and accept it.

Ban Appeal Review – Final Decision Appealing User: Mino Roblox Username: amyiscool1817 Discord Username: airi7777 (306775692388073475) Staff Member: InternalHypothesis Ban Reason: RDM (Random Deathmatch) Evidence Reviewed: User-provided clip: Clip 1 – Medal.tv Additional evidence attachments and screenshots submitted in the appeal. Staff-side logs and chat history between the user and InternalHypothesis. Context regarding the "hit" roleplay against Moonbux. Footage Analysis: The footage shows the appealing user equipping a firearm and shooting the targeted player without any visible RP engagement, threats, or verbal interaction immediately prior. No live threats, typed initiation, or sufficient escalation were recorded before lethal force was used. The target did not have an opportunity to react to any RP scenario and appeared unaware of the incoming attack. Attempting to blend into the crowd after the shooting without clear scene closure was noted. Findings: While the user claims to have been executing a gang-related hit, there was no visible or audible live RP escalation to justify the shooting within the clip itself. Roleplaying a "hit" still requires proper threat RP, initiation, and opportunity for response before firing. Shooting without these steps falls under the community’s definition of Random Deathmatch (RDM). The moderator incorrectly mentioned a "30-second RP rule," which does not exist in the official rules. However, this error does not invalidate the underlying footage evidence confirming RDM. Relevant Rule Violations: [Section 2.2] Player versus Player (PvP) – Random Deathmatch (RDM) Killing another player without proper RP engagement or escalation is prohibited. Initiating violence without warning or scene establishment is not permitted even during bounty or hit-based roleplay. Note: You interrupted an active police RP scene (Scene Interference). You RDM'd the officer without appropriate initiation. Even if a "hit" was placed, you must still properly roleplay initiation, and must not interrupt an existing unrelated RP scene without escalation. Final Outcome: The appeal is denied. The ban for Random Deathmatch remains in place. The verbal misstatement by the moderator has been noted for internal handling but does not affect the decision. Users are expected to clearly roleplay threats and escalation before using lethal force, regardless of context. Reviewed and finalized by Mountain Interactive Moderation Team. 9. Ban Appeal Review DecisionAppealing User: Fernando214 Roblox ID: 23400839 Discord ID: 212316424784314370 Ban Reason: V-TOS (Violation of Terms of Service) Staff Member: Unknown (Ban issued based on community report and moderator review) Ban Length: Permanent Game: Perris, California Ban Date: April 26, 2025 Evidence Reviewed: Video Clip 1 Screenshot Evidence Footage Analysis Process0:00–0:04 — Player is seen dragging a body with the in-game grab system. 0:04–0:10 — Player manipulates the body by dragging it in an unusual manner while standing around the scene with others nearby. 0:10–0:20 — Multiple players appear confused or disturbed by the handling of the body; there are no obvious signs of system restrictions like tool errors or visible glitches. 0:20–0:30 — Player continues dragging the body without clear RP justification, appearing to “play” with it rather than handling it realistically. No roleplay emotes, commands, or clear context are given to clarify intent. Additionally, the screenshot evidence shows chat logs and behavior that were interpreted as mishandling the scene inappropriately. Rule References[Mountain Interactive Terms of Service (V-TOS)] Violations include disrespecting realism standards, mishandling crime scenes, and displaying behavior that significantly damages roleplay integrity. Tampering with evidence improperly without realistic justification falls under V-TOS. [General Gameplay Rules – Scene Respect] You must treat bodies and scenes with appropriate seriousness. Dragging bodies without RP or attempting to "play" with them is prohibited. Final Decision: Appeal Denied – Permanent Ban Will Remain in PlaceWhile you claim your actions were an attempt to move the body for livestream visibility, the reviewed footage does not support this in a realistic RP context. No evidence of technical restriction was demonstrated during the footage. Instead, the actions appeared careless and were reasonably perceived by others as disrespectful of the scene, leading to the report. Given the nature of the violation (V-TOS), permanent bans are standard. Refunds for membership are not available as stated in Mountain Interactive’s refund policy: membership purchases are final even if a moderation action occurs after. Moderator Note: You didn't admit to "body humping" which you were, you then said "can i at least get a refund" you showed no remorse and no admission. If you simply had admitted to what you did. I would've accepted this appeal. Status: Appeal Denied Next Steps: Ban will remain in place permanently. No refunds will be issued per policy. Ban Appeal Review DecisionAppealing User: Heo1000 Roblox ID: 86964672 Discord ID: 368122359682695170 Ban ID: 70364 Staff Member: @q_Sxmply Ban Reason: LTAA, FRP Game: Perris, California Ban Date: April 22, 2025 Ban Length: 1 day Moderation History: No prior warnings, kicks, or bans Evidence Reviewed: https://medal.tv/games/roblox/clips/k8y3Z2BCcG1JESS_C?invite=cr-MSw5M00sNjU5ODYyMzI Footage Analysis Process0:00–0:07 — The suspect is pulled over at S&R with multiple law enforcement officers surrounding the vehicle in a felony stop posture. 0:08–0:12 — The suspect drives forward into a pole and crashes. 0:13–0:16 — The player’s vehicle catches fire. Player exits vehicle, stands still briefly. 0:16–0:20 — No RP text, surrender animation, or engagement with officers is observed. 0:20–0:22 — The player leaves the game during the arrest. There is no indication that the player communicated with staff or officers during the event. The crash, followed by an immediate leave while surrounded, fits the definition of LTAA. No clear evidence is provided in the clip of system issues, and the suspect does not roleplay the vehicle fire or show intent to cooperate. Rule References[2.5] Fail Roleplay (FRP) Players must act in a realistic manner and roleplay their actions during interactions with law enforcement, including crashes and arrest scenarios. [2.5] Leave to Avoid Arrest (LTAA) Leaving the server while being actively pursued or detained by law enforcement, regardless of intent, is prohibited. Final Decision: Appeal Denied – Ban Will Remain in PlaceWhile the user claims the disconnect was due to freezing from a crash, the video does not show any delay, freeze, or signs of lag. The leave occurred within seconds of being surrounded in an arrestable scenario without any RP effort or follow-up. Due to the lack of clear evidence supporting the appeal and the circumstances of the footage showing behavior consistent with LTAA, the ban will remain on record. This is a short-duration 1-day ban with no prior history and will not have long-term consequences if future incidents are avoided. Status: Appeal Denied Next Steps: The ban will expire automatically after its original duration.
